A man from Fort Wayne was charged with child molestation on Monday. He is currently spending 10 years in prison for child solicitation, having child pornography, and spreading material that is harmful to minors. The previous case gave Christopher M. Phillips, 34, a plea deal, and he is now two years into his term. This case and the one before it both happened in 2020.
In Phillips’s first case of child sex abuse, he admitted to touching a 12-year-old girl inappropriately and sending her sexually explicit texts and pictures. He told the cops that he knew the girl was about to turn thirteen.
Phillips is accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy in the case that was filed on Monday. A probable cause affidavit made by Fort Wayne Police Detective David Colon backs this up. According to an interview, the boy said Phillips hit him three times.
