Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix will get a brand new title. Here is what it’s

Ak-Chin Pavilion, an out of doors live performance venue in Phoenix, has a brand new title.

Dwell Nation stated Speaking Stick Resort is the brand new name-in-title sponsor of the venue, which is now known as Speaking Stick Resort Amphitheatre.

The 20,000-capacity venue has been an leisure vacation spot for Valley music followers since 1990, when Billy Joel performed what was then known as Desert Sky Pavilion at 2121 N. 83rd Ave., Phoenix. It seats 8,106 below a pavilion roof and a further 12,000 on the garden behind the principle stands.

Its last live performance as Ak-Chin Pavilion was Nov. 5 with Phoenix legend Stevie Nicks, a two-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Corridor of Fame.
