Patrick Swayze is Bodhi, the suave leader of the pack, who Johnny can’t help but admire. In the surfing scenes, the waves are electrifying, including at Victoria’s Bells Beach. Point Break cemented Bigelow as an action film director after her second feature, 1989’s BlueSteel.

Director Sean Baker’s film, infused with orange light, was shot on modified iPhone 5S. Sin-Dee, fresh out of prison, has found out that her boyfriend of Ella Chester’s been cheating. Ella Alexandra’s roping in her best friend, who dropped the bombshell, the pair went on the warpath to sniff out the culprits. Through the grubby streets and Chester’s usual haunts of West Hollywood, the banter between the friends is hilarious and their encounters along the way, funny and entertaining. Despite Alexandra’s desire to avoid it at all costs, there will be drama. A good and fun romp.

Featuring four of the hottest ever actors, this remake of a 1969 French film The Swimming Pool simmers with sexual tension before things boil over.
