This year’s Peony Festival has a show that everyone is looking forward to: Feel Good Fridays! Come see the amazing band Whoa Man on Friday, June 7th, at 7:30 PM for an exciting night! The strong women who have shaped the history of rock music are being honored by this lively group.
People know Whoa Man! for their high-energy shows and touching tributes to famous female rock singers. From Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks’ famous voices to Joan Jett and Pat Benatar’s groundbreaking sounds, Whoa Man! has a set list that will captivate and inspire people of all ages. This group from Fort Wayne, Indiana, plays rock and roll with female vocals and is sure to make you laugh.
As of this Feel Good Friday concert, the Summers community music series has begun. The concerts will run from June 7th to August 9th. Starting 10 weeks ago, Fountain Park in downtown Van Wert has been the place to be every Friday. Peony Festival is a well-liked event that shows off the spring spirit and beauty of our town. The event is held in the middle of downtown and has many things to do, such as a beautiful display of peonies, local vendors, food trucks, and entertainment that is fun for the whole family all weekend.
