A 65-pound bag of cocaine was discovered on Tuesday by a beachgoer strolling along the Florida Keys’ shores. The cocaine was discovered on Long Key in a bound package, according to Adam Hoffner, assistant chief patrol agent for the Miami sector of the U.S. Border Patrol, the Miami Herald said. The Border Patrol announced in a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the individual who discovered the package called the authorities.
