North Alabama is likely to see scattered showers this evening and for most of the night. Some storms can bring big hail and strong winds that can cause damage. Tornadoes aren’t likely, but that doesn’t mean they can’t happen.
Early Friday morning, it will still be cloudy, but the clouds should clear up in the afternoon. This will help the temperature reach the low and middle 70s. Saturday’s daytime highs will be back in the middle 70s, and the weather will be dry and beautiful again.
There could be one last round of rain Saturday night into Sunday morning. Almost certainly, this will happen south of the Tennessee River. On Sunday, the sky is going to clear up quickly. Still, it will be windy and cooler, with highs back down to around 70. The Tennessee Valley will have a dry and nice first half of next week.
