Massachusetts Crime: Man Arrested After Stabbing 6 People in Theater and Mc Donald’s!

A Massachusetts man has been taken into custody following a series of violent stabbing attacks that left six individuals injured across two separate locations. Jared Ravizza, 26, of Chilmark, faces multiple charges after allegedly attacking four girls in a movie theater in Braintree and subsequently stabbing two employees at a McDonald’s in Plymouth.

The first incident occurred on Saturday night at the AMC Braintree 10 theater, located approximately 13 miles south of Boston. At around 6 p.m., Ravizza reportedly barged past the ticket counter without paying and entered one of the theaters.

Once inside, he launched an unprovoked attack on four girls, aged between 9 and 17. The young victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received immediate medical attention at the scene before being transported to Boston hospitals for further treatment.

The chaos at the AMC theater left moviegoers in shock. “They looked like they just saw a horror movie and not a kid’s movie,” Mateo Rojas, a witness, told Boston25 News, describing the visibly shaken children as they emerged from the theater.

Approximately an hour later, at around 7 p.m., Ravizza allegedly continued his violent spree at a McDonald’s in Plymouth, a coastal town about 27 miles southeast of Braintree. According to Massachusetts State Police, Ravizza was captured on surveillance footage reaching through the McDonald’s drive-thru window and stabbing a 29-year-old male employee with a large knife.

He then parked his vehicle, entered the restaurant, and stabbed a 21-year-old female employee. Both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals.

Authorities quickly linked the two incidents, suspecting that the same individual was responsible. Braintree police, with the assistance of state authorities, identified Ravizza’s vehicle, a black SUV, and began tracking his movements.

The pursuit culminated in Sandwich, approximately 45 miles southeast of Braintree, where Ravizza’s vehicle crashed. He was apprehended at the scene and taken to a hospital for treatment of his own non-life-threatening injuries.

Ravizza has been charged with multiple offenses, including assault with intent to murder and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that Ravizza will face these charges in Plymouth District Court on Tuesday. The investigation, led by the Massachusetts State Police, remains active and ongoing.

Authorities have praised the rapid response and cooperation between local and state police, which led to the swift identification and capture of the suspect. The motive behind Ravizza’s attacks remains unclear, and investigators are working diligently to piece together the events leading up to the violent spree.

The incident has left both communities in shock, grappling with the aftermath of the seemingly random and brutal attacks.
